As Fairtrade Fortnight kicks off, this year’s theme—Do It Fair for People, Planet, and Fair Pay—feels less like a campaign slogan and more like a reflection of why NEMI Teas was founded.

Fairness isn't a single step—it’s a commitment that spans our entire supply chain:

• 🍃 At Origin (For People & Planet): We pay fair, guaranteed prices directly to tea growers and farming co-operatives. This provides stable incomes for farming families, funds vital local community projects, and supports organic, climate-resilient agriculture.

• 🤝 At Home (For Fair Pay & Opportunity): True ethical trading doesn't stop at import. Here in the UK, over 50% of our profits directly fund job training, paid work placements, and holistic employment support for refugees rebuilding their lives.

When tea farmers receive fair pay for their crop, and refugees in the UK get a fair shot at meaningful employment, the entire food system becomes a force for good.
