Happy Pride!

Happy Pride!

This Saturday (July 1st), the city of London will come together for its annual celebration of Pride, marking the end of International Pride Month. Find out about the LGBTQ+ organisations who need your support, throughout Pride Month and beyond, below.

We’re thrilled to have launched our teas at London LGBTQ+ Community Centre, particularly in time for Pride Month.

The Community Centre is a relaxed space and coffee shop (open to everyone) which holds events, workshops and a safe space to hang out. You can also volunteer there! Visit their website to find out what’s on and how to get involved.

We’ve listed a few other fantastic organisations in the LGBTQ+ space below…

GALOP

Galop supports LGBTQ+ victims of abuse and violence, giving them access to hotlines and services, and the opportunity to meet others in the community that are going through similar experiences.

STONEWALL

Stonewall stand for LGBTQ+ people everywhere, and have been creating transformative change since 1989. They campaign for LGBTQ+ rights and deliver programmes in schools, workplaces and communities.

IMAAN

Imaan supports the Muslim LGBTQ+ community, keeping Muslims connected to their families and their faith. They are also actively addressing the connection between islamophobia and homophobia.

KESHETUK

This organisation supports Jewish LGBTQ+ members, whilst providing education and training in their wider communities.

MERMAIDS

Mermaids supports the emotional and mental health of gender-diverse youth and their families. They also seek to educate and inform wider society on gender identity by helping professionals to support gender-diverse young people.
