London's Best Social Impact Cafés

London's Top 5 Social Impact Cafés.

There’s nothing we love more than a Sunday stroll around London, sampling some of the best tea, coffee and cakes that the city has to offer!

Have you tried any or all of these social enterprise cafés?

Two happy employees at Fairshot Café

1.       Fairshot Café

Fairshot is a social enterprise café that helps young adults with learning disabilities. The café is situated in Covent Garden, so it’s the perfect place to stop by whilst exploring the bustling area. It’s also our Founder (Pranav)’s, favourite coffee shop in London!

2.       Redemption Roasters

Started by Ted & Max in 2016, Redemption Roasters now have over 10 locations across London. They roast all of their coffee at HMP The Mount, from where they train and employ prison residents to manage the coffee production process.

3.       TRAMPOLINE Café

Started by NEMI Teas Founder Pranav Chopra just over a year ago, our café in Angel trains and employs refugees – giving them the confidence, skills and references that they need to work in the UK. We have a great range of drinks and food supplied by local, small and sustainable businesses; find us on Camden Passage!

4.       Change Please

The Change Please social enterprise business is on a mission to end homelessness in London, one cup of coffee at a time. They have a range of café locations across London and their coffee is available in over 8 countries! The credentials on their website speak for themselves: 100% of the Change Please profits are put towards supporting homeless people and over 85% of their trainees have successfully found employment following their training schemes.

5.       Good Company Café and Tap Room

We are passionate about reducing food waste in the UK, so we were delighted to hear about Toast ale, who use surplus bread to make their beer. Not only that, but their café bar in Triton Street is a collaboration with Change Please – so you can raise your glass and support two worthy causes at the same time.

TRAMPOLINE Cafe, just a 2 minute walk from Angel tube station.
